Vontelle is a black women-owned and operated luxury eyewear brand specializing in bespoke textiles and prints inspired by the African Diaspora, featured on optical frames and sunglasses for both adults and children. We offer sizes tailored to diverse facial features, provide prescription services and offer customizable lens colors and tints, including blue light blocker lenses.
We know that undiagnosed or untreated vision issues can hinder a child's educational success and we're commited to meeting the eye health needs of students, particularly those in underserved communities. That's why Vontelle has partnered with the NYC Department of Education (DOE) to provide vision screenings and affordable prescription eyewear to K-12 students in public schools across the 5 boroughs.

Vontelle is the first black women-owned eyewear company to sign a licensing deal with Nickolodean, and with collections including and the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, we have frames that will make students feel confident and fashionable.
Vontélle Vision Pathways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to improving access to vision care and helping children and families overcome barriers that can affect educational success, health and quality of life.
Vontélle Eyewear serves as a programmatic partner and experienced provider of culturally responsive eyewear and vision-access services. Vontélle was founded by Black women entrepreneurs with a mission rooted in the belief that eyewear should provide both fashion and function while meeting the needs of people historically underserved by traditional eyewear options.
Our work extends beyond providing glasses. We focus on identifying children who may have an unmet vision need, connecting them to appropriate eye care and ensuring that children who require prescription eyewear have access to glasses that they can comfortably and confidently wear.
We bring significant experience serving school-age children. For more than one year, Vontélle has worked as a subcontracting vendor with the NYC Department of Education/NYC Public Schools, providing vision screening and prescription eyewear services to schools across all five boroughs.
